A Little Bit About Me

I am Nichola Irvine, a freelance Illustrator, 2d animator ,painter, mural artist and teacher based in Belfast.

My work focuses on landscapes around Ireland often paired with inspiring quotes to create art that uplifts and inspires. Bright colours and magical scenes often take over my work.I love to draw weird and wonderful characters, representing people and bodies that are often overlooked in the mainstream media. My work is a mix of traditional and digital and my aesthetic focuses on non-conventional canons of beauty; ugly art and colourful, quirky and often textural shapes.
