Misty Beach, Art Print

I created this print inspired by Wuthering Heights and the way the film captured its misty, windswept landscapes. I was especially drawn to the nostalgic feeling of a rain-soaked day by the sea. For me, it brings to mind wet autumn afternoons at Ballycastle Beach, where my mum has a holiday house. It’s that familiar moment of walking back from the shore after the rain, cheeks cold and clothes damp, then changing into pyjamas and lighting the fire — ending the day in warmth and comfort while the weather carries on outside.
